Plans & Pricing

The initial assessment and consultation is for new clients only and includes a full day of events designed to help us help you.  Coach Butler will assess your overall game, equipment and course management beginning with a warm up session on the range and followed by an 18-hole round of golf.  

After playing, you will have the opportunity to meet with Coach Butler to discuss findings, game assessment, junior golf overview, college advisement and current and future equipment needs.  Of course, there will also be plenty of time for questions and answers, too!  Parents should plan to join their player for this portion of the day.

Following the initial in person assessment, you will have the opportunity to participate in a detailed mental skills assessment.  This important piece will help you to better understand your golf psychology and identify your strengths and weaknesses. 

As a follow up to your initial consultation you will receive a written summary and Coach Butler will be available for a follow up phone call to review the data and answer any questions you have.

The fee for the initial consultation will be credited toward the annual program cost if contracted within 30 days of the assessment date.  

The annual advisement program is designed to provide long term guidance and player support throughout the year.  With this program BGA provides the following services:

College Advisor and Recruitment Plan  

• Resume and cover letter development with ongoing reviews and edits
• Comprehensive understanding of the NCAA recruiting process to include eligibility requirements, athletic and academic scholarship opportunities, pre-requisites, training regimen and time commitments
• Advice on choosing target colleges and universities
• Overview for both official and unofficial campus visits
• In-depth preparation for campus and coach visits

Player Development, On-Going Assessment and Support

• Develop game plan for addressing findings of the mental skills assessment
• Ongoing review of player technique, mental acumen and equipment 
• Consultations with private instructors as needed
• Understanding and utilization of player statistic tools
• Monthly analysis of play statistics with ongoing goal setting and accountability 
• Course management techniques and advice
• Specific course management plans (available for additional fee - see Tee to Green)
• Guided practice rounds (available for additional fee - see Tee to Green)

Tournament Navigation

• Assistance in developing a seasonal tour schedule to help maximize player exposure
• Understanding and choosing the right tours and courses for you
• Tournament travel recommendations
• Help with understanding and choosing the best golf ranking systems for maximum exposure

Clients who are looking for specific services or a customized plan to address their unique needs may contact BGA to discuss their options.  Elite Annual plans are developed on a case-by-case basis and pricing is determined by the plan. 

Due to time constraints, there are a limited number of Elite Advisor plans available each year.  Please contact BGA for more information and availability.

Players who are enrolled in the Annual Advisor Program are allowed to further develop their personal training by adding any of the following customized experiences to their plan:

Guided Practice Round - designed specifically for those important upcoming tournaments when the client would like expert playing advice specific to a course.

Course Management Plan - managing the course is just as important as making a good golf swing.  Coach Butler will work with you privately to develop best practices for general course management skills as well as develop a specific course plan of action.

Tournament Caddie - having a trusted friend or mentor on your bag can make all the difference in your round.  With this experience Coach Butler will be with you for every shot.

Tee to Green experiences will be charged $1,500 each in advance and are subject to additional travel expenses.

For players and families who seek occasional expert advice from a trusted source, the Retainer Plan may meet their needs.  With this plan, clients will receive 10 hours of advisement services over the course of 12 months and may choose to upgrade to the Annual Advisement Plan at any time during the year.

Prepaid hours expire one year after purchase. All related travel expenses are subject to reimbursement as indicated below. 

Clients of Butler Golf Advisors are expected to observe high standards of professionalism at all times both on and off the golf course.  Repeated violations of expected standards may result in dismissal from the program and in forfeiture of fees paid. 

Clients may incur additional fees to cover applicable travel time and related expenses if meetings (including the Initial Assessment & Consultation) are conducted more than 100 miles from Savannah, Georgia. Airfare (coach class), rental car, gas, hotel and incidental expenses will be charged on an actual basis. Meal reimbursement will be charged at a rate of $40 per day and mileage will be calculated based on current IRS tax codes. 

Annual Program clients who opt to renew in successive years will be charged at their original rate – increases will not apply.   

Applicable fees for all programs and consultations, including renewals and extensions, are due in advance of services. Please note all bank transfers are subject to a service charge. Credit cards are not accepted. 

In compliance with NCAA Rules and Regulations, Butler Golf Advisors does not market a prospective student-athlete's athletic ability or reputation, negotiate or promise scholarships, or serve as an agent in any way. Fees are not contingent on a prospective student-athlete either being recruited to play golf in college or receiving any institutional financial aid.
